Communicating health and science visually

Listen.
We need to be professional but also stand out in the crowd.

Reframe.
What if we didn't try to be like everyone else?

Build.
I created academic, scientific, health infographics with pop.

Background

OpenBiome, a nonprofit biotechnology company, is focused on increasing patient access to Fecal Microbiota Transplants (FMTs). OpenBiome works hard to provide useful physician and patient information.

Digestive Disease Week is the world’s largest gathering of physicians, researchers and industry in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery. This is a huge venue for OpenBiome to present itself and its services to the medical community.

Problem Space

As a small nonprofit at a big conference, it's essential to present powerful graphics to draw traffic away from extravagant displays set up by Big Pharma companies.

Solution

I created a wide variety of graphics to demonstrate OpenBiome's safety and quality protocols, product offerings, and impact.
